Riccardo Di Blasio, CEO, elucidates, “GConnect ensures connectivity for local as well as roaming solutions by deploying our most innovative product: CloudSIM.” The platform provides connectivity in the form of Physical SIM, Soft SIM and eSIM, over any common cellular technologies at any location around the world. The platform also controls and manages subscription profile based on a rule engine, which allows IoT enterprises to enable global connectivity through a single contract with Globetouch. This foundation of connectivity can further be enhanced by the Cloud based Global Connectivity Management Platform called GControl, which enables enterprises to launch and manage their IoT services on a global scale. Using GControl, businesses can efficiently manage device lifecycle, onboard customers, perform inventory and order management, provision services based on business rules, manage billing and invoicing, and download and switch to appropriate profile on-demand.

GConnect ensures connectivity for local as well as roaming solutions by deploying company’s most innovative product: CloudSIM
CloudSIM technology delivers services over multiple mobile operator networks ensuring coverage across geographical boundaries. This unique feature supports a large number of use cases that no single mobile operator can provide. The company’s strong partnership with some of the world’s leading mobile operators helps it overcome many challenges. The legal challenge, such as regulations preventing continual roaming, is overcome by leveraging local player connectivity and automatically provisioned IMSI over the air. Similarly, when supporting infotainment services with data access on a roaming device, Globetouch converts the connected device from roaming to a local appliance, ensuring local services at competitive prices.
Globetouch products are built on open API architecture, which allows enterprises to define their solutions in a quick, efficient, and secure manner to deliver IoT solutions powered by eSIM, SoftSIM and IoT devices. One of the renowned DSL providers has deployed Globetouch solutions to provide a backup service connectivity and management solution for its fixed line DSL backup. In the case of any loss in connectivity over fixed line, Globetouch SIM in the modem connects to the available network and acts as a backup. ‘GConnect’ platform loads appropriate policy and enforces quota available to the user.
The company is adapting to newer technologies based on NB-LTE/LTE-M, LoRa, SIGFOX and various other key technologies that will play a key role in the IoT space, primarily Connected Car, Fleet management, Smart City, Industry, Energy, Smart home, Supply Chain, Agritech, Drones, Wearables, Trackers among others. The team at Globetouch understands the potential of mobility solutions, and so with a single headed focus is working on heterogeneous connectivity and on-device intelligence supported over V2X communication technologies that will play a critical role in connected cars and autonomous driving.
