ExoWISE was born from further cooperation with Exosite, an enterprise software firm and a market leader in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform industry. Exosite's ExoSense® remote condition monitoring application and Murano® IIoT platform, both operating on AWS infrastructure, are used in the new solution, including a native device connection from the ICP DAS WISE-5231 gateway. In addition, Exosite's Murano platform offers superior cloud security management in encryption and authorization.
ICP DAS's IIoT edge gateway WISE-5231 may communicate with the ExoWISE solution as long as customers use the standard Modbus protocol. WISE-5231 can begin sending data to the cloud platform for remote control and monitoring in various industrial applications as soon as it is connected, allowing users to view dashboards with real-time data and equipment status and receive notifications manage user access, and generate reports. WISE-5231's main job is to link edge devices to the Internet and act as a bridge between them and the cloud. When compared to traditional SCADA systems, these features represent a significant differentiation.
